The mission of “perfectingofthesaints.com” is summed up in Ephesians 4:11-16 "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ..." vs.#12 These six verses of scripture clearly reveal God’s plan and purpose for the spiritual development of the body of Christ…the goal of this ministry.

We believe that, in these last days, this crucial mandate is neglected and thereby the multitude of God’s people are “tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine…” (Eph. 4:14)

Throughout history, secular culture and philosophy has successfully infiltrated the Church of Jesus Christ, counterfeiting the Gospel, corrupting the Word of God and "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men"(Matt.15:9)  

Just as prophesied, this progressive, corrosive worldly  influence has today reached its pinnacle "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine..." (2 Tim.4:3)  Modern Christianity is the victim of a major culture shift...a generational swing toward liberalism.

This website humbly seeks to be a tool of God to counter the "falling away" by    stressing the guardian role of sound doctrine, which has been compromised by contemporary Christianity.     

To this end we are advocating a return to the “old paths”, utilizing the time-honored fundamentals of the faith to encourage and equip believers to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”. (2 Peter 3:18)

Our purpose is to manifest the vital connection between doctrine and spiritual growth, through an illustrated study of the scriptures highlighting the life-changing potential of sound doctrine.

"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.  But they said, We will not walk therein." Jer. 6:16
